The
Institute for Interventional Pain Medicine
The Institute for interventional Pain Medicine provides patients who
experience chronic pain with specialized care and treatment.
This service is an outpatient department of Brookville Hospital.
A comprehensive range of diagnostic procedures and treatments for people with
chronic pain are provided. The major focus of this service is evaluation and
treatment of back and neck pain. The treatment approach emphasizes
non-surgical, conservative management of patients with neck and back problems.
Our goal is to return these patients to the highest level of functioning as
quickly as possible and help them maintain that level of ability.
At the initial evaluation, the treatment plan will be discussed with the
patient. All risks, benefits, and other treatments available will be presented.
Communication with the referring physician about the treatment and the patient's
progress occurs on a regular basis.
