Tests Provided:
Stress tests—treadmill and pharmacological, Echocardiogram, Stress/Echo, Pediatric echo, EKG, Tilt table study, 24-hour Holter monitor, 30-day cardiac event monitor, Pulmonary function studies, EEG-electroencephalogram, noninvasive lower extremity pressure studies, Bronchoscope, sleep studies, ABG, ventilator management, and all routine modalities of respiratory therapy
Location in Hospital:
Second floor annex building. From the outpatient registration office, take Elevator #3 to the second floor and check in at the Cardiopulmonary window.
What to Bring:
Remember to bring your physician’s order and a list of your allergies and medications for all tests.
Any Preps:
Stress Testing—Nothing by mouth for 12 hours before the test and no caffeine 24 hours before the test. Wear comfortable clothing and comfortable shoes for walking.
Echocardiogram—No special prep.
Pulmonary Function Tests—No inhalers, bronchodilators or respiratory treatments 12 hours before the test. You will be given a bronchodilator during the test.
EEG–electroencephalogram—Wash hair before coming for your test; do not use any gels, hairsprays or conditioners in your hair.
Tilt Table Study—Do not eat the morning of your test.
